Bransby Williams Dramatic Monologist

Amateur actor with The Eagle Amateur Dramatic Company, then as a professional actor in stock repertory.

From 1896 he specialised in Dickens characters, dramatic monologues and famous actors including Henry Irving, David Garrick and Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree.

The recording of “The Green Eye of the Little Yellow God” was written by J. Milton Hayes (1884 - 1940) who wrote and performed many such monologues.
