First performance at The Princess Theatre London 28th April 1858 as Mamillius in A Winter’s Tale.
Joined Sir Henry Irving’s Company at the Lyceum Theatre London in December 1878 which started an artistic partnership that existed for 24 years.
Her first appearance at the Lyceum was as Ophelia with Irving as Hamlet.
Her final appearance with Irving was in a benefit performance of Merchant of Venice on 14th July 1909 at Drury Lane Theatre.
Her first Portia was in 1875 with the Bancrofts.
Her first Portia with Irving was at The Lyceum in 1879.
